So I am beginning to have too many projects on the go but I did happen to finish one today. On Saturday I started designing a patter for fingerless mitts using that so so soft yarn I got for a steal earlier in the month. So far the pattern is done and one mitt looks fantastic!
I have also been working on my self imposed sock club January Socks; however this is not going as well as planned. I think I might have to do a pair of socks every two months at the rate that I am knitting these. Here is a pic to show my progress.
Also, I have been working on a project for my friend Jenn's new baby that is expected in March. This project is going rather slowly because I am just not liking the yarn that I picked. I am using a 100% cotton yarn and it's really making my fingers hurt from having to grip it so tightly. But this is the progress I have made on that as well,
Lastly, as we were watching the football games last night I was informed that my god daughter has out grown her hat that I had knitted for her when she was born. She is now one month old! and is already in need of a new hat so I casted on for this lovely soft pink hat last night at 9:30 and finished it today at about 8 pm. It is sooo cute,
So hopefully now that I know Abigail's head will be warm I can concentrate on my cold feet and finish these darn socks!

Hello, It doesn't hurt to have several projects on the go; however, it is always nice to finish one and start another.
ReplyDeleteI've just joined Ravelry and made the Kaz Thrummed Hat which is really, really huge. It took a couple of weeks.
Happy New Year.
