What I've been up to...

Okay So I have been slacking a little with regards to my blog posts but not when it comes to knittting. Last weekend a friend and I went to the Ottawa crfat show with one specific purpose in mind. To auire some handspun yarn form  local vendor. To much of our surprise there was no booths with anything even close. Not even hand woven wraps or knitted goods. All that we found was very nice paintings, jewlery that we could not affrod and homemade soaps and jams. Oh well maybe next year :(

This week I received an e-mail asking me to make make two baby hats for a photography friend of mine, mjg-photos.com. So I went shopping and got right to work. Here is the results as of this morning:
Many cool new yarns and some books purchased at my LYS
A wonderful girl bunny hat, it might be a tad too big

The start of some fabulous headbands

As for my other knitting projects I have made some wash cloths to go with a baby hat I had knit for Baby Peacock, who we are all still waiting patiently to arrive (1 more week):

I have made some great progress on the shawl I am making for my mom, will finish this weekend in time for easter:

I have purchased the things needed to make the wonderful Wispy Cardi by Hannah Fettig, maybe I will get this yarn wound this weekend and a swatch done!

I have also order some wonderful circular needles from KnitPicks! I cannot wait to get them.
